The Association of Spray Tanning Professionals gets Shady

The Shady Sun Tanning Co. is proud to have recently joined forces with the Association of Spray Tanning Professionals. We are happy to be sponsoring this great program along with their sold out, upcoming first Sunless Summit in Las Vegas in January.

We are so excited to announce that we have recently partnered with The Association of Sunless Tanning Professionals as participating sponsor. ASTP was created in March of 2015 by Shonna Dexter and is an independent, nation-wide group of sunless tanning technicians and salons dedicated to creating and enforcing sunless tanning standards. Geared towards entrepreneurial women, the ASTP strives to provide a resource safe-haven for experienced professionals and new business owners.

We believe strongly in quality standards for service and products, that’s why we support ASTP! Plain and simple. With their first ever Sunless Summit this January, it was the perfect time to introduce our brand to a wider salon audience and show ASTP’s members our dedication to excellence in the industry.

ASTP is set to sponsor a variety of events for the industry, including its first flagship event, Sunless Summit 2017. The Summit is set to occur January 23-24, 2017 in Las Vegas. While we won't be able to be there in person this year, we will have a presence at the show- donating items from our retail collection to attendees coming to the event at Caesars Palace Las Vegas.

“Since I decided to join this industry four years ago it has bothered me that there is nowhere to go to get an unbiased education and information about how to start, grow and evolve a business in the sunless industry,” Dexter commented. “Looking for a place to network with professionals online is hit and miss, but I have always known our industry would be so much stronger if the true professionals were given a way to unite and grow.”
